Recommended: Idiolect at The Bat Yam Museum
First of all HAPPY BRITHDAY to my dear dad who I love so much!
Last week I went to the exhibition opening of “Idiolect” at the Bat Yam Museum (MOBY).
Five artists participate in this show: Nelly Agassi, Eitan Buganim, Barak Ravitz, Hillel Roman and Jan Tichy.
Barak Ravitz:
Hillel Roman:
I really loved one piece by Nelly Agassi, two large horizontal screens on which the artist’s hands are shown, wide open, as if to welcome the visitors.
The space at Moby is beautiful and as soon as I entered the museum it reminded me of a mini Guggenheim.
Outside the museum:
I have to admit this was my first visit to Moby and probably my second visit ever to Bat Yam. I’ve noticed that generally, museums in the peripheria of Tel Aviv have a high reputation so after visiting the museum of Petach Tikvah and the Bat Yam Museum, my next destination is the Ashdod Museum.

Very interesting.
BTW, there was an article about the Ashdod museum in one of the recent TimeOut issues. Check it out.
