Videozone is an art biennale that takes place each year in Tel Aviv.
You can find events such as films, exhibitions and talks in a number of locations around the city including the Tel Aviv Cinematheque, the HerzliyaMuseum of Contemporary Art, the Digital ArtLab in Holon and the Center for Contemporary Art (CCA) in Tel Aviv.
Yesterday we went to see the exhibition ‘Repetition’ at the CCA curated by Boaz Arad.
The aim of the show is to assemble video artists who explore the concept of repetition in their work.
I loved Doron Solomons’ video “Déjeuner sur l’Herbe” (2000), a reinterpretation of the famous painting by Manet.
