This year the Parisian FIAC Art Fair celebrated its 40th anniversary.
For this occasion, the Tel Aviv based Dvir Gallery, which has been participating in the fair for over a decade, presented works by artists they represent and which have strong ties with France: Adel Abdessemed, Mircea Cantor, Latifa Echakhch, Claire Fontaine and Ariel Schlesinger.
During the fair, it was announced that Latifa Echakhch won the prestigious Marcel Duchamp Prize. She was nominated for the prize together with Farah Atassi and the collective artist Claire Fontaine (both Echakhch and Claire Fontaine are represented by Dvir) .
Echakhch has recently presented her 2nd solo show at Dvir Gallery in Tel Aviv, see pictures of that exhibition by clicking here.
