Street Art: Peace of Art

Love Is Possible

The year in Israel is starting on a pretty bad note. Because of the war, the atmosphere is very quiet. It seems that every single person you meet in Tel Aviv knows someone affected by this war.

So today I’ve decided to post images of art works which give a message of hope and peace and which you can find on the streets of Tel Aviv:

I think your post says very eloquently what a lot of people, including myself, are feeling.

I like your images of peace too.

Keep safe and let’s hope for good news.

I think that what you are doing with your blog is perfect, you are just being yourself and reflecting the atmosphere so don’t stop!
    (j’adore aussi le titre!)

Complexity is probably the best word to describe what it feels like to be Israeli, in times of war and in general.
Sanity means staying connected with news, reality, but more importantly staying focused on what you do & your likes.
Tel Aviv’s tempo of life, its defiance, and resilience are regarded as “Life in a Bubble”, i disagree, it’s just a glimpse of normality in a post traumatic country.

Sarah, thank you so much for answering my e-mail (I shall reply shortly).

Regarding this post, I can relate somehow to those questions you ask yourself concerning whether you should carry on with your regular life. Since last October, my family in Venezuela has been going through an extremely difficult and delicate situation that I might or might not mention in my blog, and I have been able to move on almost as if nothing is happening, though it stills affects me and pains me greatly.

I think it is okay to continue your life in a somewhat normal way, we just have to acknowledge every day how lucky we are to be able to do so. And make every contribution we can to ease the pain of others, and I believe the message of peace and hope you are sending out here through your images is a great way to do just that.
